(More customer reviews)This is the best nonstrick griddle I have purchased. You only need to heat medium to medium-high to get the best result. I use a little oil to give flavor to the food I am cooking and everything slides right off! I use it to make a lot of chicken. The pleasant surprise is that I can now make eggs over easy on medium heat - sets nicely to be able to flip without breaking the egg and without overcooking it. This is the first pan I have ever been able to achieve this. Since it is such a nice size, I cook eggs and ham and other items all at the same time.
Unlike other nonstick pans I have purchased in the past, it has retained its' "nonstick".

(More customer reviews)I purchased this product from a big box store and chose this griddle because of the Wearever name. I have used Wearever cookware for over 20 years and have always been pleased with the quality for a relatively low price. This griddle has changed my mind. Within seconds of placing it on my stovetop, the sides warped and curled upward. I have since tried this pan on numerous heat settings, and even on the lowest setting it still warps. It flattens back out when it cools off, but what good is it when it's cool? It's completely unusable, probably dangerous, and could possibly damage my solid cooktop. Please buy a different pan.

The hard anodized construction heats evenly, handles are rivited on and have soft silicone rubber grips (eliminates a pot holder). The non-stick surface is superior when it comes to cleaning. Food particles rinse off easily with warm soapy water and swish of a sponge or dishrag. NOT recommended for dishwashers and NEVER use an NON-STICK spray on the cooking surface. You won't be dis-satisfied with this cookware!!

(More customer reviews)I was expecting the same performance out of this non-stick pan as from the chemical laden pans. I guess that was a bit hopeful. The pan works well, and you can dry fry some vegetables and they will not stick. However, if they burn even a little, that dark spot will be very difficult to remove. This is the problem with the pan. If/when something actually sticks to it, its not easy to clean.
Outside of that, eggs don't stick, pancakes don't stick. That's all I really wanted.

Great for making fajitas without losing anything over the sides. No problems with sticking either and it's huge! Highly recommended.

(More customer reviews)We have now been using this set for 6 months. When we first received and began using them, the pans were perfectly nonstick so that food including eggs could be cooked without any oil, and cleaning was fast and easy. Unfortunately this is no longer true -- the pan we've used most often now requires oil in order than food doesn't stick, despite hand-washing and following the manufacturer's other directions. If no oil is used, the pan is like a traditional pan and not only does food stick, but the pan requires prolonged soaking and scrubbing to get it clean. You must also be careful not to stack the pans (chipping and scratching).
The pan handles do not get hot, but the lid handles do, so be prepared to use a potholder to move the lids.
The set must be hand-washed and handled carefully to avoid chipping, but this is not a problem for us.
I would have rated the set 5 stars had it retained its nonstick performance. The loss of the nonstick capacity and the subsequent difficulty with cleaning the pans drops my rating to two stars.
1/3/10 Edited to add: We've now been using this set for a year and I've noticed several minute to small chips out of the cooking surfaces of more that half the pieces. We do not use metal utensils (silicon only) and are careful with cleaning and storing. One piece has also absorbed the smell of the food that was cooked in it. I am now looking for a different set of cookware, and regret buying this one. While I prefer a "green," eco-friendly product, I think this one needs some improvements in quality and design.
