(More customer reviews)Bought two of these pans. Most of my NordicWare is very sturdy, however these pans don't seem to be made as well. A little on the light and flimsy side not to mention that when cleaning the lid, got cut on the sharp edge of the lip!

(More customer reviews)I learned of this pan from my Grandmother. We use it in the oven in place of anything that you would normally cover with aluminum foil. Just use the lid instead! It is called a "cake" pan but can actually be used for so much more! Last night I used it to make lasagna, which turned out great. The metal lid has two other benefits: 1) it can be used alone as a cookie sheet and 2) when you carry food or store it in the refrigerator, you don't have to worry about the lid getting smashed like the rubber ones that are on glass dishes. It is very lightweight. I am not sure how it will hold up over several years but for the price, you should get your money out of it.
