(More customer reviews)This little pot is a trooper! I've had one for a couple years, and have cooked hundreds of servings of pasta in it--mostly for myself, but sometimes 3 or 4 person serving sizes.
The handle is sturdy, the bottom doesn't burn, and water heats evenly inside (if you have a good stove, of course). The highlight feature is the pouring spout and straining lid. I have cooked angel hair pasta, regular spaghetti, cavatelli, manicotti, linguini, rigatoni, and plain old mac 'n cheese. Every kind of pasta cooks perfectly in this pan.
Being able to use the lid to strain the pasta is a HUGE time-saver, and it means one less thing to wash and store (I actually didn't even own a strainer until I needed it for other purposes a couple months ago (mainly for shaking out powdered sugar).
HIGHLY recommended.
