(More customer reviews)Bought this because I wanted a fold up handle for packing. The light weight and folding handle packed into the camp kitchen very well. The folding handle is sturdy and the the small opposing handle is nice. But I could not rate this higher because the non-stick material is delicate and not very non-stick. After one weekend camping trip, there were scratches thru the non-stick coating. I will use it until the non-stick surface deteriorates, but it will be replaced by frying pan with a regular surface.

(More customer reviews)I bought this cookware set about a year ago for family camping trips. We are a family of 5 who don't like to skimp on meals when camping. This set has more than met our expectations. There is nothing that we want to cook that we can't with these pots. I also use the largest pot to boil water for washing the dishes. I haven't had a problem with sticking although I do use spray or olive oil when I have to brown anything. I would not recommend using metal utensils as the non-stick coating is thin. I have used this set at least 10 times and it has held up well. They clean up very easily. The cups are small but double as measuring cups which always come in handy, one less item we have to carry. The plates are small but definately functional. The flat lids for the tops can also double as a warming area for breads, butter, etc. I can't tell how many years of wear I will get out of these, but I would buy again, especially for the price. And everything really does fit together in one pot.

(More customer reviews)I bought this item almost as a joke because it was so cheep and so lightweight that I thought it would be junk. I figured that even if it was useless I wouldn't feel bad about throwing it out because of the price. What I found was that this little set actually works very well. I was impressed with the weight and it cooks a great steak and cleans easily. It packs up pretty small too.
My only two concerns with this product was that
1. Because the frying pan is two pieces and aluminum the handle tends to bend with too much weight. Long term I think bending will greatly weaken the handle.
2. The handle of the frying pan can get a little hot if left on the heat for more than a few minutes. Still easily handled with a towel or shirt sleeve.
These are the prices you pay for the very light weight and cheep price. All in all though, a great bargain that really works.

Stansport Non Stick Steel Two Person Cookware Set, Black Granite Review

(More customer reviews)We purchased this set to use for lightweight car camping trips, but it is not too heavy for backpacking.
The set is steel, and heats more evenly than aluminum sets I've used in the past. I cooked a test pot of rice over a one burner stove and experienced no sticking, burning or dry spots. The folding handles are riveted to the pots and pan rather than being welded. The handles are loose, and under some circumstances could fold back against the cookware while cooking, leading to melting of the plastic covering, but they do lock together which should prevent that.
The plastic cups that come with the set feel somewhat cheap (alright, really cheap) but include measurement markings and withstand boiling water quite well.
Because of the finish and the non-stick coating, I would not recommend this set for use over a campfire.
All in all, I'm pleased with the performance of the set, and at the price, would say it's a good value.
