(More customer reviews)After the very first use--the very first--the teflon coating is already peeling off exposing the steel below it. I made pasta in the pot and used a SOFT plastic spatula to gently stir it. After that there were already two spots where the coating had come completely off. Now I have used it about 5 times total and the coating looks like it has been scraped with a metal spatula hundreds of times. And no, I did not put it in the dishwasher. Not even once. I used a very soft plastic spatula and did not stir hard. I've had far better quality from an $7.99 pot purchased at a discount store. I seriously don't understand how the quality could be so poor and this company is still in business. Avoid this unless you want to eat teflon flakes with your pasta.

(More customer reviews)No, these aren't anodized aluminum and no you can't put these in your oven. But, for a "cheap" set of pans, they're great. I bought these on super sale. The bottom of the pan is flat(not always the case with "cheap" pans I've had) and they cook evenly throughout the pan. You can tell they cook evenly because when you boil water, you get several bubbles spread evenly throughout the bottom. I've had this set for several months now and the non-stick coating is still going strong. One issue I have is that at least one of the pan covers is warped. Also note that you cannot put these in the dishwasher. I especially like the smaller deep pans - makes cooking sauce easier because it minimizes splatter issues. The large frying pan also nicely accomodates making crepes. Overall, I'm very pleased with the value of this purchase.

I'm someone who brings my lunch with me to work daily and absolutely love the ease of these products. The sizes are just right for an entree and one or two sides. I use the mugs for chili and soups, the bowls for entrees, french onion soup, pumpkin pudding and a laundry list of things in between. Just last night I made chicken pot pies. Baked, frozen and later on today they'll be microwaved. Perfect for those who enjoy cooking, enjoying leftovers, bringing lunch to work and easy clean up. Staining and retaining odors does not happen with these, as it can with other storage products. They certainly win hands down over plasticware with regard to its versatility.

(More customer reviews)These are very lightweight, poorly constructed pans. one of the round ones was so thin, that it has holes right through at the bend between the side wall and the bottom. I did not even bother to return because they were so cheap. I would not recommend them to anyone.
